anonopia is free to use. Contributions are entirely voluntary — you never have to make one.
anonopia is free to join and use. We are funded by voluntary contributions from the people who value it — not by advertising or selling your data. A contribution supports the running of the service (servers, encryption and privacy infrastructure, development, and security). It does not purchase premium features, and it does not unlock or gate any part of the product.
Contributions are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Because a contribution is a voluntary gift of support rather than a purchase of goods or services, once a payment is completed it is not returned.
If you believe you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a technical fault), contact us at copa@anonopia.com and we will investigate and correct genuine billing errors.
You may choose to make a recurring contribution on a monthly or yearly basis. Recurring contributions:
Cancelling a recurring contribution stops all future charges. It takes effect at the end of your current billing period; the current period is not refunded or prorated.
You can cancel a recurring contribution at any time from your account settings in the app (Support → manage your contribution). Once cancelled, you will not be charged again, and no further action is needed.
If you have any trouble cancelling, email copa@anonopia.com and we will cancel it for you.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated in the app.
